Speaking
Like any Bard, I’m entirely comfortable telling stories to small or large groups. My previous speaking and training experience includes business skills training as a civilian contractor for the USAF Services Division.
Recently, I’ve presented to organizations including Business and Professional Women of River City and the National Council for International Visitors.
I am available to speak to various groups on topics including:
- Social Media 101
- Social Media for Non-Profits
- Search Engine Marketing
If you’d like to see a short video on Social Media 101 I did for a previous employer, check it out here: Kat French, Social Media 101
If you’re interested in having me speak at your event, please send an email inquiry to coffeecupkat [at] gmail dot com. And thanks for considering me!
Here is a quick professional bio:
An experienced webmaster and web copywriter, Kat was the first of Doe-Anderson’s Social Media Managers to be hired via social media, after finding the job posting in her RSS reader, inquiring about the job via Twitter, and submitting her LinkedIn profile in lieu of a resume.
Well-known and respected in the online marketing community, she has managed social media and online marketing initiatives for Maker’s Mark bourbon, the Daytona Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, the National Center for Family Literacy, Vanity Fair Intimates, AMR Management Services, Banyan Bay and Grand Colony Resort, Jacuzzi spas, and Warner Brothers. Kat also contributes both to the Doe-Anderson agency blog and Jason Falls’ Social Media Explorer, an AdAge Power 150 Marketing Blog.
As a web copywriter, Kat’s work on the Lily of France “Find Your Sexy Style” promotion received a Gold ADDY award at both the local and regional level, as well as a Stevie Award.
Kat currently lives in Southern Indiana with her husband and two children. She is also an avid amateur dramatist, having directed and performed in two dinner theatre productions and written a number of short sketches and monologues for church drama programs.
